The Official Lucas Flint Short Story Contest 2025 is officially closed—and Bolt has settled into his reading chair, stacks of superhero stories at his side, ready to dig in. ⚡📚

First, a huge thank-you to everyone who entered. This was the very first year for the contest, and I’m thrilled to say I received six submissions across my superhero universes. Each one represents a writer who was brave enough to put their creativity on the page, and I can’t wait to read them all.

• Over the next two weeks, I’ll be reading every entry carefully.
• I’ll choose the story that best fits the contest rules: canon-compliant, original, and unforgettable.
• The winner will be announced publicly in October 2025.
