The Neoverse

The Neoverse is a recurring setting in which several of my superhero series are set. In the Neoverse, superhumans (whose powers are genetic in origin) are a minority, although they’ve seen a massive and mysterious population explosion since 1986, forcing them into the mainstream and making them a feature of modern life. Some superhumans decided to use their powers for good and become superheroes, while others use their powers for evil and become supervillains, and some just want to live their lives without getting involve in all of the superhero craziness. Almost anything can happen in this universe, from alien invasions to superhuman cults attempting to infiltrate the federal government and everything in between.
The term ‘Neoverse’ comes from the term ‘neoheroes,’ which is another term for superheroes in the Neoverse, albeit one that has fallen out of favor in recent years.
The first book in the Neoverse is The Superhero’s Test, the first Superhero’s Son book, while the most recent addition to the Neoverse is The Superhero’s Clone, the fifth and final Lightning Bolt book (see listings below for more information).
Works set in the Neoverse:
The Superhero’s Son (9 books. Completed)
The Young Neos (5 books. Completed)
The Supervillain’s Kids (4 books. Completed)
Lightning Bolt (5 books. Completed)
