In the fifth Capes Online book, Winter must battle a military organization that rules the enigmatic Junkyard in order to return to Capes Online itself.
When Nyle Maxwell (Winter) gets deleted from the main game, he ends up in the Junkyard, a deadly place where all of Capes Online’s deleted data goes to die. To return to Capes Online itself, Winter must team up with his previously-believed dead younger brother and a mysterious medic against a militaristic organization that rules the Junkyard with an iron fist.
Meanwhile, Cyclone races to find a way to restore Winter back to Capes Online. But between being hunted by one of the game’s deadliest glitch killers and a mad scientist who wants to dissect him for science, saving Winter might be the least of Cyclone’s problems.
Yet even if Winter returns to Capes Online with Cyclone’s help, a secret traitor working in the background might destroy them both.
