READ FOR FREE!

Here’s a clean, reader-facing draft you can use (or lightly edit) for your website page:

📚 How to Read My Books for Free (or Close to It)

I get it—books can get expensive, especially if you love reading a lot (which I hope you do!).

The good news is that even though my books are no longer exclusive to one platform, there are still several completely legal ways you can read (or listen to) my stories for free—or at little to no extra cost—depending on what you already use.

Here are the best options 👇

📖 1. Your Local Library (Free with a Library Card)

If you have a library card, you may already have access to my books.

Many libraries offer digital borrowing through platforms like:

  • Libby (powered by OverDrive)
  • Hoopla

These apps let you:

  • Borrow ebooks and audiobooks for free
  • Read/listen on your phone, tablet, or computer
  • Return them automatically (no late fees!)

👉 Pro tip: If you don’t see a book available, you can often request it from your library. That helps both you and me.

🎧 2. Subscription Reading Services

If you already use a reading subscription, you may be able to read my books at no extra cost.

Here are the main ones:

  • Everand (formerly Scribd)
  • Kobo Plus

These work kind of like Netflix—but for books:

  • Pay a monthly fee
  • Get access to a large catalog of ebooks (and sometimes audiobooks)
  • Read as much as you want within the service

👉 If you’re already subscribed, there’s a good chance you can dive into my series without spending anything extra.

🎵 3. Audiobooks on Spotify

Yes—Spotify now offers audiobooks!

Depending on your plan, you may get:

  • A certain number of listening hours per month
  • Access to audiobooks included in your subscription

If you prefer listening while driving, working out, or relaxing, this is one of the easiest ways to experience my stories.

💡 So What’s the Best Option?

It depends on what you already use:

  • Have a library card? → Start with Libby or Hoopla (completely free)
  • Already paying for a reading subscription? → Check Everand or Kobo Plus
  • Use Spotify regularly? → Try audiobooks there

🙌 One Small Favor

If you enjoy any of my books—no matter where you read them—please consider:

  • Leaving a review
  • Telling a friend
  • Sharing on social media

That kind of support makes a huge difference and helps me keep writing more stories for you.

Thanks,

Lucas Flint
