The 2026 Lucasverse Fanfiction Contest Is Officially Closed!

And that’s a wrap!

After running all summer from Memorial Day through Labor Day, the 2026 Lucasverse Fanfiction Contest is officially closed for submissions.Thank you to everyone who entered this year. Whether you spent the whole summer working on your story or finished it during the final stretch, I really appreciate you taking the time to write something set in the Lucasverse and send it my way.

Now the work shifts over to me.

Throughout September, I’ll be reading through all of the submitted stories, judging the entries, narrowing down the finalists, and eventually choosing this year’s winner.

And on October 1st, I’ll officially announce the winner of the 2026 Lucasverse Fanfiction Contest!

The winning story will become part of official Lucasverse canon, and I’m very excited to see which story earns that honor this year.

For everyone who entered: congratulations on finishing and submitting a story. Regardless of what happens during judging, you took an idea and turned it into something real, which is an accomplishment all by itself.
