The 2026 Lucasverse Fanfiction Contest is officially open! From Memorial Day (May 25, 2026) through Labor Day (September 7, 2026), fans of my books are invited to submit their own original short stories set in the worlds of the Lucasverse.

Whether you want to write about superheroes in the Neoverse, adventures in the COverse, chaos in the MWSverse, or even a multiverse “what-if” story, this contest is your chance to explore the worlds and characters of my books in your own way.

And yes—there are prizes.

Grand Prize

The winning story will receive:

• Official Lucasverse canon status
• Personal feedback and editing from Lucas Flint
• A signed set of The Superhero’s Son Omnibus volumes
• Publication on LucasFlint.com, the Lucas Flint newsletter, and the Lucas Flint YouTube channel

Two runners-up will also receive personalized feedback and signed copies of The Superhero’s Son Omnibus Volume 1.

The Face of the Contest: Bolt

Once again, the contest will be hosted by Bolt, the protagonist of The Superhero’s Son series.

Bolt will be appearing throughout the summer in contest announcements, prompts, and reminders—so keep an eye on social media and the Lucas Flint Discord server for updates, inspiration, and weekly writing prompts.

The 2025 contest produced some fantastic stories, including the winning entry “Wannabe Villain” by Winston Crutchfield, which proved that Lucasverse fans have some seriously creative ideas.

What Kind of Stories Can You Write?

Stories must take place in one of the Lucas Flint universes, including:

• Neoverse (Superhero’s Son, Ashley Jason, etc.)
• COverse (Capes Online, Villain Town, etc.)
• MWSverse (Minimum Wage Sidekick, Fake Superhero, etc.)
• Independent works such as The Legacy Superhero

You may also write multiverse or alternate timeline stories if you want to explore a “what if?” scenario in the Lucasverse.

Stories should be between 1,500 and 7,500 words.

Simply write your story and submit it by email before the deadline.
