Hey, everyone! I am excited to announce a brand new project from me that’s a little different from my normal books.

This week, Amazon has finally released their new serialization platform called Kindle Vella. Rather than buy whole books at once, readers can pay a certain number of ‘tokens’ to read the next ‘episode’ or chapter, tokens which you can buy from Amazon in packs and spend as you see fit.

So I’ve decided to release a new story for Vella called Fake Hero: Season 1. It’s a satiric superhero comedy set in the MWSverse (same universe as Minimum Wage Sidekick), but set in a very different corner of it following a very different protagonist in very different situations. Here’s the description on Vella that sums up the story well:

“Doctor Mind thinks he has it made. For three years, he’s used alien technology and clever stage tricks to fool the people of Freedom City into thinking he’s a legit superhero while conning them out of their money the entire time. That is, until a real supervillain interrupts one of Doctor Mind’s cons and threatens to destroy the entire city unless Doctor Mind can defeat him in a month’s time. Now Doctor Mind must put together a team of superhero rejects to defeat the villain and save the city.”
