Looking Ahead: Big Stories, Big Projects, and an Even Bigger 2026

A new year always brings a sense of possibility—but 2026 is shaping up to be something special. Between launching new worlds, celebrating a major milestone, and finding new ways to connect with readers, this year is all about building, experimenting, and having a lot of fun along the way. Below is a look at what I’ll be working on throughout 2026 and what you can expect to see across my books, audio projects, and community events.
The Codex Wars

2026 is the year I go all-in on The Codex Wars, my new LitRPG / progression fantasy series. The story is currently serializing throughout the year on Royal Road and Patreon, where readers can follow along chapter by chapter as the world, systems, and stakes continue to expand. This series represents a big creative pivot for me—deep systems, long-term progression, and a setting designed to support a massive story arc over multiple books. If you enjoy watching a world take shape in real time, this is the perfect moment to jump in (links below).
The Superhero’s Son — 10th Anniversary Celebration

It’s hard to believe, but The Superhero’s Son turns ten in 2026. To celebrate, I’ve already rolled out brand-new anniversary covers across all series, giving the series a refreshed look while honoring what made it special in the first place. Alongside the new covers, I’ll also be expanding the audiobook side of the series, making it easier than ever to experience these stories in audio form. This is a year-long project, and I’m excited to revisit the series that started it all.
Secret Identity Audio on YouTube

Later this summer (or early fall), I’ll be launching a brand-new audio project on YouTube: the Secret Identity Audio channel. This channel will focus on free, accessible audio content drawn from my catalog and related projects, designed for readers who prefer listening over reading—or who just want more ways to engage with my stories. I’ll share more specifics as we get closer, but this is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and am excited to share it with y’all.
The 2026 Fanfiction Contest

Community creativity returns in 2026 with a brand-new fanfiction contest, officially launching on Monday, May 25th (Memorial Day in the US). As with previous contests, this will be a chance for readers to tell their own stories within my fictional universes, explore side characters, alternate viewpoints, or entirely new corners of the worlds I’ve created. I’ll have full rules and details posted closer to launch, but if you’ve ever wanted to play in my sandbox, this will be your chance.
New Box Sets and Backlist Collections

Finally, 2026 will also see new box sets featuring some of my backlist series. These collections are a great entry point for new readers and a convenient way for longtime fans to grab complete arcs in one place. Expect more announcements throughout the year as different series get bundled and refreshed.
All in all, 2026 is about momentum—building new worlds, celebrating old ones, and experimenting with new formats and platforms. I’m excited to see where the year goes, and I’m grateful to have you along for the ride. Stay tuned—this is just the beginning.
